HOME TRANSITION PLANNING IN GEORGIA AND BEYOND

The plan before the movers.

When a family faces a major move, like downsizing a longtime home, helping a parent move to a smaller place, divorce or separation, relocating, combining households, or a move after injury, disability, or a change in health, the hardest part usually isn't the moving. It's the hundred decisions that come first. RightSize Home Transitions brings structure and support to every decision: what stays, what goes, who owns each one, and when to bring in the realtor, the attorney, or the mover. You end up with a clear plan, and every specialist gets clear instructions.

When family cannot be there in person, we show up for the home walkthroughs, realtor meetings, and specialist visits you approve, and keep everything in writing.

Employers can also offer this planning support as a benefit for their teams.

When life changes

It can all land on your family at once.

A person beside you

Hello, I'm Abby

For more than 15 years, my work has been sitting with people in hard moments. Listening first, then helping them find their way through change. In my HR career I guided people through some of life's biggest decisions, always with calm, discretion, and care.

I bring that same approach to your home transition. I will listen to what matters to you, keep you in control, and leave you with a clear written plan.

Your family makes the choices. RightSize helps you plan the next steps.

Common questions

What families often want to know

How do I help my parent downsize?

Start with the decisions, not the boxes. RightSize sits down with you and your parent, sorts what stays, what goes, and who handles each step, and puts it in one written plan before anyone hires movers.

Can you help if I live out of town?

Yes. On-the-Ground Support covers the home walkthroughs, realtor meetings, and specialist visits you approve. We keep every decision in a written log and send photos and a weekly update.

Are you a mover or organizer?

No. RightSize works the way a wedding planner runs a wedding - we make the plan and keep it on track, while movers, organizers and other specialists do the physical work once you approve them.

Do I need to be moving?

No. RightSize can help with relocation, divorce or another family change, downsizing, or another home transition before a move date exists.

Can family members be involved?

Yes. One authorized family contact keeps communication clear.

What if sentimental items need more time?

They can be separated from urgent tasks and revisited at a slower pace. Open decisions stay visible in the plan.

Can my employer offer RightSize?

Yes. We can discuss a limited pilot for employees helping a parent move or planning their own retirement move. The employer pays for agreed planning sessions; each family keeps control of its decisions and outside providers.
